The first 48 hours decide a lot

The steps that protect your health and your claim.

1Care

→

See a doctor, even if you feel fine

Adrenaline masks injuries. Concussions, soft-tissue damage, and spinal injuries often surface days later. A same-day medical record is the strongest link between your injuries and the crash.

✓Do Go to urgent care or the ER the same day, and follow through on every referral.
✕Avoid Toughing it out. Gaps in treatment are the first thing an insurer attacks.
2Record

→

Document everything at the scene

Photograph the vehicles, their positions, the road, and any visible injuries. Collect the other driver’s name, insurer, and plate, plus names and numbers for every witness.

✓Do Take wide shots and close-ups, and back them up somewhere safe.
✕Avoid Posting anything about the crash on social media.
3Report

→

Report it the right way

Call the police so there is an official crash report, and notify your own insurer that a collision happened. Stick to the facts.

✓Do Get the report number and ask how to obtain a copy.
✕Avoid Guessing at fault or apologizing on the record.
4Counsel

→

Talk to us before the adjuster

The other driver’s insurer will call fast and sound friendly. You are not required to give a recorded statement, and once you sign or settle it is very hard to undo. Let us handle it.

✓Do Call us first, at no cost, before you say anything on record.
✕Avoid Recorded statements and quick, lowball settlement offers.

The rules that decide your case

Partly at fault? You still recover.

Arizona follows pure comparative fault. If you share some of the blame, your compensation is reduced by your percentage of fault, not erased. Even a driver found mostly at fault can recover for the share someone else caused.

A.R.S. § 12-2505

What a claim can cover

Medical bills, future treatment, lost wages, reduced earning power, property damage, and pain and suffering. Our job is to count the full long-term cost, not just today’s receipts.

Claims against a city, county, or state

If a government vehicle or public property was involved, special rules apply. You generally must serve a formal notice of claim within 180 days, and the deadline to sue a public entity is shorter than a normal case.

A.R.S. § 12-821.01

Talk before you sign

Adjusters may sound friendly, but their goal is to pay less. You are not required to give a recorded statement. A short conversation with us first can protect your claim’s value.

Vehicle & accident claims

Most of our injury work starts with a crash. We handle the full range, with extra depth where the case demands it.

Case / Auto→

Car accidents

Rear-end, T-bone, head-on, and multi-car crashes across the Valley.

Case / Commercial→

Semi-truck accidents

18-wheeler crashes bring federal rules, black-box data, and more parties.

Case / Rider→

Motorcycle accidents

Riders face unfair bias and severe injuries. We push back, hard.

Case / Rideshare→

Uber & Lyft

Large coverage and tangled insurance questions.

Case / Vulnerable→

Pedestrian & bicycle

The worst injuries fall on those with the least protection.

Case / Loss→

Wrongful death

If a crash took someone you love, we help your family seek accountability.

We are Phoenix people. We know Loop 101 at rush hour, the I-10 stretch through the West Valley, and how Maricopa County juries and insurers actually behave. That local footing is part of why the other side takes it seriously.

Answers

How much does a personal injury lawyer cost?

We work on a contingency fee. Nothing up front, and our fee comes out of the recovery we win for you. If we do not win, you owe no attorney fee.

How long do I have to file in Arizona?

Most personal injury claims must be filed within two years of the injury (A.R.S. § 12-542). Claims involving a government entity have a much shorter 180-day notice deadline. Because deadlines can end a case, it is best to call early.

What if the crash was partly my fault?

Arizona uses pure comparative fault, so you can still recover even if you were partly to blame. Your compensation is reduced by your share of fault, but you are not shut out (A.R.S. § 12-2505).

Should I talk to the other driver’s insurer?

Be careful. Adjusters may sound friendly, but their goal is to pay less. You are not required to give a recorded statement, and it is smart to speak with a lawyer first.

How much is my case worth?

It depends on your injuries, medical costs, lost income, how the crash affects your life, and the available insurance. We look at the full long-term picture and give you an honest assessment.

What does it cost to get started?

Nothing. The consultation is free, and you owe no fee unless we win.
